Trick to Remote Shutdown a Computer in LAN Network

  • If you want to play prank and have fun with your friends when you are LAN Network or you forget to shutdown your PC then here we are now you can Shutdown and Restart any computer. Follow the instructions carefully:-

    1). Open Command Prompt (Start--> Run--> CMD)

    2). In the command prompt type the command 'shutdown -i' and press Enter. A new window will be pop up.


    3). Click on the Add Button and a new window will be open. In this name the computer you want to Shutdown or Restart and click OK.


    4). Now select the option that you want to do with the selected computer and from the option tab select why are you doing this. This is just a formality choose any option and then click OK.


    that's it but if you are having any problem to shutdown PC then you should have to Disable your UAC and if there is any problem again try this other alternative. Try to access the computer with Remote Desktop, then press ALT+F4 and shutdown the computer.
